Meet Christy
I remember the first time I used a camera.  My
family was visiting Mt. Rushmore and I must
have been 8 or 9 years old.  Later on in high
school I took a photography class one semester
and was the teacher's assistant the next.  From
that point on I've had a camera attached to me.

I have always felt the creative nature in my core,
but have never been able to create something out
of nothing, as in painting or drawing.  But when
I have a camera in my hand, I can take something
ordinary and make it extraordinary with the click
of a shutter button.  When a photograph captures
someone's personality, or tells a story - that's
what I try to do with each and every frame.

My style of photography is very relaxed, a
combination of photojournalism and candid
shots.  I like to have fun during photo shoots; I
get excited when I see a good photograph in the
making, and I think it rubs off on my subjects.

Above all, I love what I do.  I love being able to
tell a story through my photographs; I love
capturing someone's personality in a single frame.
